Engelbert Humperdinck returns to the stage with The Celebration Tour and settles in Quebec City, at the Capitole Theatre, on October 12, 2026. Born Arnold George Dorsey, the British-Indian crooner built his legend on orchestral pop crafted for grand venues as well as for more intimate moments: a supple baritone voice, romantic ballads, and that discerning sense for standards that has firmly placed him between music-hall and easy listening.
The concert is billed as a journey through his emblematic titles, the ones that propelled him in the late 1960s and that followed him from television appearances to international stages. We particularly anticipate “Release Me” and “A Man Without Love,” at the heart of a repertoire where melody takes precedence and where interpretation makes all the difference. With this “celebration” format, Humperdinck also promises a few surprises, a reminder that he has never ceased recording and touring, decade after decade.
