The Rasmus arrive in Gdańsk on January 31, 2027 with their 'Weirdo Tour'. Formed in Helsinki in the mid-1990s, the group first forged its identity on a brisk rock sound, somewhere between funk, punk and alternative pop, before sliding toward more melodic and darker tracks in the early 2000s. With Dead Letters, the band led by Lauri Ylönen found an echo well beyond Finland, buoyed by the effectiveness of In the Shadows and a writing that hooks without forcing it.
Since then The Rasmus have continued to refine their blend of alt-rock, pop rock and hard rock with gothic nuances, at times injecting more electronic textures. Live, this discography translates into a set that moves between hits and more recent tracks, with direct energy and a chorus-driven sensibility that remains the band's signature. Following the departure of Pauli Rantasalmi, the guitar is now played by Emilia Suhonen, the newest member of a lineup that has never ceased touring and reinventing itself.
