Triggerfinger is back on the road with a new chapter opening for the Antwerp-based group. After 25 years of taut riffs and tight live performances, Ruben Block and Mario Goossens relaunch the machine with "Stars", a pivotal track that drew both devoted fans and curious newcomers to the trio's orbit. The ensuing tour, packed and in high demand, confirmed that they had not lost any of their live edge.
For what lies ahead, the band is preparing new material and, above all, a new studio album, the first since Colossus (2017) and the first without Monsieur Paul. To shape it, Ruben and Mario worked in Los Angeles with producer Mitchell Froom, who pushes them to move their writing habits and to explore riskier paths. On stage, the urgency remains intact, with the lineup strengthened by Geoffrey Burton on bass, a musician who has performed with Arno, Grace Jones, Iggy Pop, and Misia.
On January 30, 2027, Triggerfinger will perform at the Silex in Auxerre.
