Riff Raff

Houston-born and Katy-raised, Riff Raff heads to Oshawa with the Southern bounce and neon persona he’s honed since the mid-2000s. First noticed online through MySpace and YouTube freestyles, then on MTV’s From G’s to Gents in 2009, he carved a lane that blends Houston chopped-and-screwed DNA with trap drums and playful, offbeat hooks. Early ties to Soulja Boy led to a stint with Diplo’s Mad Decent, a run of collaborations with Action Bronson, Harry Fraud, Chief Keef and Paul Wall, and the Three Loco side project with Andy Milonakis and Dirt Nasty. Albums like Neon Icon (2014), Peach Panther (2016) and Pink Python (2019) extended his mix of braggadocio, self-parody and pop-coded imagery, anchored by bass-heavy beats and earworm refrains. On stage, he moves between low-slung bangers and melodic crowd moments, punchline verses and quick persona shifts, all delivered with a Houston-tinted drawl.
