Epik High

Epik High lands at History in Toronto on October 4, 2026. Formed in Seoul in 2002, Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz bridge Korea’s underground rap with melodic, reflective songwriting. Their sound leans on boom bap and alternative hip-hop while pulling in pop, rock, soul and electronic textures, with sung hooks wrapped around verses about social pressure, relationships and doubt.

On stage, the trio moves fluidly across eras: early work around Map of the Human Soul and High Society, the breakthrough Swan Songs, then the expansive Remapping the Human Soul and Pieces, Part One, followed by 99, Shoebox and We’ve Done Something Wonderful. The recent run — Sleepless in ________, the two-part Epik High Is Here, Strawberry, Screen Time and the 2024 mixtape Pump — brings fresh material built for live reworks. DJ Tukutz’s scratches and sample flips, Tablo’s narrative focus and Mithra Jin’s baritone shape a set that threads energy and reflection. Their international touring history, including the first Coachella invite for a Korean group in 2016, shows how their live format translates anywhere.
