Flavia Coelho - Entre Rio et Lumière

On March 13, 2027 at the Salle de l’Étoile in Châteaurenard, Flavia Coelho presents Between Rio and Light, a piano-and-voice set conceived as a musical narrative. Born in Rio and based in Paris since 2006, the French‑Brazilian singer revisits her journey between two shores, from childhood memories to the steps she has taken in France, blending melodies inherited from samba and bossa with more urban influences. Here she opts for simplicity and intimacy: the voice, the text, the breath.

At the piano, Victor Vagh‑Weinmann accompanies and converses, adds tonal color and makes the silences resonate. Together they unfold well-known songs and more intimate pieces, rearranged for this duo, where each theme serves a story. One hears the echo of Bossa Muffin and the encounters that have marked her path, without losing the thread of a personal, precise and direct narrative. A format that places voice and storytelling in the foreground, between Rio and Paris, between memory and the present.
