On 26 September 2026, the Parthenay Congress Centre welcomes Zoufris Maracas, artisans of a wandering French chanson. With their brightly colored guitars and melodies drawn from the four corners of the world, they blur boundaries without locking themselves into a single box. Finely honed lyrics, a social outlook and a desire to get the audience moving come together in one and the same impulse, somewhere between the streetwise verve and the call of the open sea. Often compared to Mano Negra or Les Négresses Vertes, they embrace a taste for cultural mixing that fits the times. Four albums to their name, hundreds of concerts and songwriting in direct touch with current realities: with them you dance without shying away from thorny subjects, and you travel while keeping both feet on the ground.
