Anthony Kavanagh « Jet Lag »

Anthony Kavanagh presents Jet Lag, a stand-up set nourished by his comings and goings between Quebec and France. He has fun with the jet lag—both the one of time zones and the one of cultures—and turns the small collisions of everyday life into stories that resonate with everyone. True to his sense of improvisation and timing, he alternates confidences, intersecting accents and observations on family, travel and a connected society.

Kavanagh likes to blur the line between pure stand-up and stage performance, slipping into music and impressions when the story calls for it, without losing his closeness to the audience. Jet Lag explores those moments when the body is here but the mind is elsewhere, what changes when you move from one world to another, and what brings us together despite the distance. Anthony Kavanagh will be on stage on 20 March 2027 at the Théâtre de la Gaîté Montparnasse in Paris with Jet Lag, a comic journey on a human scale between his two horizons.
