Japanese and UK rap collide as Lotus Juice and Shao Dow co-headline the Duel Elements Tour. On 8 November 2026, Manchester Academy in Manchester hosts a night where anime, gaming and hip-hop share the same stage.
Lotus Juice, the Japanese rapper whose voice runs through the Persona series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Soul Eater, steps out from the studio to his UK live debut. Bilingual and storytelling-driven, he built a style that links hip-hop technique with fictional worlds, shaping hooks and spoken-word turns that fans of game and anime soundtracks know by heart. From Persona 3 onward, his writing and delivery have defined key moments of the franchise; live, he brings that narrative sense and versatile flow to a full concert format.
Shao Dow, London-born rapper, manga author and DIY mainstay, blends English and Japanese lyricism with references pulled from martial arts, manga and contemporary gaming. An independent path has taken him from rap stages to geek culture events, with tracks heard in Fortnite, God of War and animated mashups like One Jump Man vs Shaggy Ball Z.
