Moontricks hits Edmonton on October 18, 2026 at Midway Music Hall. Born in British Columbia’s Kootenays, the Canadian duo of producer Nathan Gurley and singer‑songwriter Sean Rodman blends electronic production with North American folk roots. On stage, banjo, acoustic guitar and harmonica meet downtempo grooves, bass‑driven beats and a hint of glitch, while Rodman’s vocals carry melodies with blues and country tones. Built on a songwriting approach that puts hooks and texture first, their set moves between instrumental passages with weighty low end and sung tracks that lean toward an electronic take on americana.

Since the early 2010s, Moontricks has shaped this hybrid sound across EPs and singles, before gathering their different facets on the 2022 album Currents.
