Donny Osmond

Donny Osmond brings six decades of pop to the stage on 26 January 2027 at Connexin Live, Hull. Raised in Ogden, Utah, he first broke through with The Osmonds on American TV before launching a solo run that shaped early ’70s teen pop, from The Donny Osmond Album and Too Young to A Time for Us. After a quieter spell, he reset his sound in the late ’80s with a sleeker pop and pop rock palette, marked by the self-titled Donny Osmond and Eyes Don’t Lie and the single Soldier of Love.

Between records, he kept a steady presence on screen and on stage with his sister Marie, and stepped into musical theatre with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. Today his live set draws the line from those early hits to radio cuts from the ’80s and ’90s and newer songs from Start Again, leaning on voice, melody and tight arrangements. A career-spanning night that connects eras and shows the songwriter behind the hits, in Hull for one date only.
