Cookin’ On 3 Burners bring their Hammond‑driven funk to the Hare & Hounds in Birmingham on 7 July 2026. The Melbourne trio deal in deep funk and raw soul, all tight drums, gritty guitar and that unmistakable organ tone, tailed for hard‑hitting grooves. They broke beyond Australia when French producer Kungs reworked their 2009 cut This Girl with Kylie Auldist, but on stage the band keep it live and direct, shifting between razor‑edged instrumentals and soul cuts carried by guest singers.
Across seven studio albums and a string of 7" releases on their Soul Messin’ imprint, they’ve teamed with voices like Daniel Merriweather, Tex Perkins, Stella Angelico and, of course, Kylie Auldist, while the Lab Experiments series nods to hip‑hop tempos without losing the grit. For 2026 they tour with a rotating cast of vocalists, bringing fresh colours to a set anchored in breakbeat‑leaning rhythms and heavy Hammond lines.
