Ojerime

A singular figure in South London R&B, Ojerime arrives in Paris for her first show in the capital. Her music, crafted for the night, draws on quiet storm, golden-age R&B and contemporary electronic textures. A soft, velvety voice up front, slow tempos, supple basslines and synthetic pads form an intimate register where desire, distance and skin-deep memories mingle. You can hear the echo of the ’90s without heavy nostalgia—rather a precise, minimalist writing that leaves room to breathe and places the melody at the center.

On stage, Ojerime weaves a taut yet delicate atmosphere, between whispered confessions and choruses that settle in gently. The productions, at once hazy and crisp, serve a discreet storytelling made of details, silences and loops that linger. Each track progresses in measured steps, like a late-night outing after midnight when the lights blur and contours take on a different shape.
