Six60 play Electric Bristol in Bristol on 11 October 2026. Formed in 2008 within Dunedin’s student scene, the New Zealand group built a live-first identity that threads soul, pop rock and contemporary R&B with electronic textures and flashes of drum and bass. Their catalogue spans three self-titled albums (2011, 2015, 2019) and Castle St (2022), a run that shaped a setlist balancing big chorus hooks, guitar-led melodies and laid-back grooves with a light reggae sway.

On stage, the band leans into vocal harmonies and direct, melodic writing, moving between singalong moments and more rhythmic passages. Some songs are performed in te reo Māori, echoing a cultural anchor that sits naturally beside their English-language tracks. Long a five-piece, Six60 now perform as a quartet after the 2024 departure of founding drummer Eli Paewai, reworking arrangements around live instrumentation and programmed rhythms without losing the pulse that drives their shows.
