Info

On 5 June 2026, Hollie Cook brings her tropical pop take on reggae to King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow. Over the years she has shaped a sound where soft melodies meet bass-driven grooves, with a light soul glow and a pop sensibility that keeps everything clear and unforced. On stage, her voice sits close and warm, drifting over laid-back rhythms, dub-tinged echoes and arrangements that favour texture over volume. It’s a live set that leans into colour and detail, opening reggae up to something intimate, modern and quietly radiant.

Raised in a family where music circulates freely, Hollie Cook first stepped into the spotlight with The Slits before striking out solo. She introduced her world with a self-titled debut in 2011, refined it on Twice in 2014, and pushed deeper into lush, immersive orchestrations on Vessel of Love in 2018. Happy Hour in 2022 nudged her writing further, with cushioned textures and a steadier pulse. Show after show, she keeps drawing a line between heritage and present tense, building songs that sway rather than rush, and giving space to the voice and the groove.
