Kruder & Dorfmeister - K+D Kicks 30

Kruder & Dorfmeister bring K+D Kicks 30 to Button Factory, Dublin, on 6 May 2026, marking their first show in the city. The Vienna duo of Peter Kruder and Richard Dorfmeister helped shape a slower, mood-driven side of electronic music in the 1990s, folding trip hop, dub, languid breakbeats and jazz inflections into a sound built on space, detail and low-end pressure. From the early EP G-Stoned to their DJ-Kicks selection in 1996 and the remix suite The K&D Sessions in 1998, they’ve balanced crate-digging instincts with meticulous studio craft. Side paths like Tosca and Peace Orchestra widened the palette, while the archival album 1995, released in 2020, reconnected their mid-90s sessions to today.

For K+D Kicks 30, they revisit three decades of material and influences in a DJ/live hybrid: original cuts, remixes and versions sequenced with long blends, dubwise edits and slow-building dynamics. Deep basslines, crisp snares, vinyl patina and an unhurried groove carry the room, translating their headphone-friendly detail to a sound system.
