Toronto-born Lily Davies crafts direct, candid pop under the name Lilyisthatyou, first shaping songs alone in a bedroom setup before returning to Canada in 2020 to structure the project. She broke through with FMRN, co-produced with Caleb Jacob, a track that set the tone: lyrics that look straight at desire, shame, addiction and power dynamics, wrapped in melodies built for the crowd.
