Info
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit land at 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin, on June 3, 2026. Built around the singer-songwriter after his years with Drive-By Truckers, the band bridges Muscle Shoals and Nashville, mixing americana, alt-country and a lean southern rock edge. The songs lean on storytelling that tracks inner lives and the frictions of the present, with melodies that carry without fuss.
From the self-titled debut in 2009 to Here We Rest in 2011, the group sketched a roots palette shaped for the stage and captured across several live recordings. With producer Dave Cobb, The Nashville Sound (2017) and Reunions (2020) thickened the arrangements while keeping the writing upfront. Weathervanes (2023) extends that line, melodic and clear, driven by the 400 Unit’s tight interplay.
Live, the set moves from low-lit ballads to brisk, wiry guitar runs, drawing widely across these records. It’s the sound of a band anchored in Southern songwriting traditions and in constant dialogue with today’s independent Nashville scene.
