On 12 July 2026 at VooDoo Club in Warsaw, Poison Ruïn takes the stage with a sound shaped in Philadelphia’s punk underground. Formed in the early 2020s, the band folds post-punk, anarcho-punk and deathrock into a stark, melodic framework and a recurring medieval imagery. Mac Kennedy (voice, guitar), Nao Demand (guitar), Allen Chapman (drums) and Will McAndrew (bass) craft lean songs where hardcore-tinged and UK punk riffs lock with shadowy bass lines, austere synths and martial rhythms. The delivery is clipped, the tension constant, the repetition deliberate. Their 2023 record Härvest pushed this approach further, widening the scope of the arrangements without dropping the economy of means or the frontal energy, between punk urgency, synthesized textures and an atmosphere of urban decay.
Support comes from Polish outfit Eat My Teeth, opening the night at VooDoo Club with a set built for close quarters and direct impact.
