The Veils - Fragile World

The Veils bring Fragile World to Chelsea in Vienna on 21 November 2026. Led by New Zealand singer-songwriter Finn Andrews, the London-formed band has spent two decades shaping a dark, melodic take on indie rock, shifting between stripped-back ballads and more forceful, textured passages. Early releases on Rough Trade set the path with The Runaway Found (2004) and Nux Vomica (2006); Sun Gangs (2009) and Time Stays, We Go (2013) kept the focus on Andrews’ voice and tight guitar lines. With Total Depravity (2016), the group pushed into a rougher, more experimental zone before returning in 2023 with …And Out of the Void Came Love. In 2017, The Veils appeared in Twin Peaks: The Return.

On stage, the band threads folk shades, post-punk edges and a hint of gospel into concise arrangements, playing with contrasts that move from quiet tension to saturated bursts. Fragile World suggests a set that crosses the catalogue, letting recent material sit alongside earlier tracks without breaking the continuity that runs through their songs.
