Gogol Bordello

On 16 August 2026 at Klub STUDIO in Kraków, Gogol Bordello plug back into the gypsy punk they forged in New York at the end of the 90s under the lead of singer-guitarist Eugene Hütz. The band folds punk rock drive into Balkan and Eastern European folk textures: violin and accordion bite into jagged riffs, percussion stays on the front foot, and flashes of ska and dub slide through the set. The lyrics move between English, Ukrainian, Russian and Romani, circling themes of exile, migration and life across borders without losing the street-level detail that powers their songs.

From early releases like Voi-La Intruder and Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike to Super Taranta!, Trans-Continental Hustle, Pura Vida Conspiracy, Seekers and Finders and Solidaritine, the catalogue traces a sound built by musicians from different backgrounds and scenes. Live, that collective approach shapes the dynamics: call-and-response hooks, rolling percussion, strings that swing from folk shuffle to punk surge, and quick shifts that keep the momentum tight. A set anchored by voice, strings and pulse, drawn from across their discs and wired for the room.
