For 30 years, the comedian has established himself as an incisive, offbeat artist on the French stage. His style, which blends subtlety and boldness, has inspired numerous generations of performers.

For his eighth show, Elie Semoun makes a slight turn: stand-up now occupies a larger place, a novelty for him. But make no mistake, Cactus remains true to his taste for characters. Among the gallery of his new 'monsters' you'll encounter Jean Abdul, who will be the opening act; a son who takes his father to visit a nursing home; Xavier, a man with a physical disability who introduces his wife to his mother; a father confronted with his son's transition; a racist karate instructor; and a biting take on sexual harassment and religion.
