Seamonsters 35th Anniversary Tour 2026
The Wedding Present will play a series of concerts in Germany in 2026 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the release of their album 'Seamonsters'. The concert will take place on 17 November 2026 at 7:00 PM at Hole⁴⁴ in Berlin.
After the release of 'Seamonsters' — which was recorded by Steve Albini in 1991 over the course of twelve days — The Guardian wrote: 'Albini gave The Wedding Present considerable weight, with Gedge's voice flowing through rows of darkly glowering guitars', and included the album in its list of '1,000 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die'. Despite its uncompromising sound, the album reached number 13 on the UK albums chart.
At all dates the band will perform 'Seamonsters' in its entirety, along with other songs from their repertoire.
