Info
HO99O9 will make the Knust in Hamburg quake on 21 June 2026. The duo from Newark, theOGM and Eaddy, have been blurring the lines between hardcore punk, rap and industrial sounds since 2012. Their tracks pit trap patterns against distorted riffs, shouts against spoken-word vocals; in between, samples, sirens and noise grind and crack. Lyrically they address political and social themes, and visually they draw on horror aesthetics — a setting that hits immediately in a live context.
After early EPs like Mutant Freax and Horrors of 1999, the debut United States of Horror (2017) translated their mix of rumble, pounding and scan-like textures into a full-length. The mixtape collage Cyber Cop [Unauthorized MP3.] (2018) pushed the electronic, industrial elements further to the fore. With Skin (2022), co-produced in part by Travis Barker, the sound intensified again: aggressive rap, digital punk, dark tensions.
On tour, HO99O9 move between punk, metal and rap stages and reach across different scenes. For Hamburg, a compact, high-impact set is in prospect, in which new and older tracks mesh seamlessly — abrupt, angular, and physically intense. At the Knust that evening hard breaks, gloomy textures and raw spoken vocals collide; genre boundaries play no part.
