Laurent Voulzy

Laurent Voulzy stops off in Troyes on October 19, 2026, at Espace Argence. A guitarist, singer-songwriter and vocalist, he has cultivated since his beginnings a blend of Anglo-American pop and French chanson, with finely honed melodies and instantly engaging choruses. From 1960s rock line-ups to his long-standing collaboration with Alain Souchon, he has built a recognizable repertoire that moves between ballads, soft rock and carefully worked vocal arrangements.

On stage, the concert maps a journey through his various periods: the pop surge of Rockollection, the sweetness of Le Cœur grenadine, the more electric hues of Bopper en larmes and Caché derrière, then the renewal of the 2000s with Avril. Voulzy also slips in nods to the sixties (La Septième Vague, Recollection), before the more atmospheric and spiritual textures of Lys & Love and the supple rhythms of Belem. A clear voice, interwoven vocal lines, guitars and keyboards create a continuous thread between ballads and light pulses, with careful attention to harmonies.
