Le Motel, Yvonne Quỳnh-Lan Dương, Thành Nam Mai & Antoine Jaunard

On 5 April 2026 at Bozar, Brussels, producer and musician Le Motel unveils Odd Numbers / Số Lẻ as a live A/V world premiere. In 2023 he travelled across Vietnam, collecting field recordings and video — rain on tin roofs, the clatter of kitchens, street rhythms — while connecting with local artists. Back in Brussels, he folded these textures and fragments into songs, shaping an album that reads like a travel journal in sound.

For the stage, Le Motel reworks this material into a set where ambient layers, beat construction and documentary listening meet traditional Vietnamese colours. Joined by guest musicians Yvonne Quỳnh-Lan Dương, Mai Thành Nam and Antoine Jaunard, the dialogue between electronics and heritage unfolds in real time. Field recordings, percussive motifs and melodic threads intersect with images shot on the road, the music drifting from close-up whispers to the city’s hum. Odd Numbers / Số Lẻ becomes a live mosaic, balancing composition and collage, sound and image, the album’s journey reimagined for a single room and a single night.
