On June 4, 2026 at The Black Lab in Wasquehal, DaviD took the stage with Le But du Je, his first EP that marked his shift toward a more direct, precise form of rock. Between melodic rock, post‑rock and touches of neo‑metal, he deploys a clean sound, biting guitars and arrangements cut for the live setting. The set promises to be tight, organic and designed to bring these new textures to life without artifice.

Across six already-established tracks, DaviD tells his story without holding back: demons, buried sorrows, relationships and traumas, but also that glimmer that refuses to go out. On stage this intimate material gains depth, carried by a tight-knit band and riffs that reconnect with his influences—from Dream Theater to A Perfect Circle, through Incubus and Coldplay. The objective is clear: to champion a French rock that is both powerful and introspective, as close to the audience as possible. Currently in the studio working on his debut album, DaviD is playing a pivotal moment here, where the raw energy of the live show extends the writing of the record.
