Alex Lutz « Sexe, Grog et Rocking Chair »

On June 12, 2026 at Espace Étincelle in Bergerac, Alex Lutz presents Sexe, Grog et Rocking Chair, his third show. He catches our contemporary tics on the fly: we rush, we scan QR codes, we upload, we connect to Wi‑Fi, we protect our data, we reboot... In this traversal of hyperconnected everyday life, he zigzags between self-mockery and tenderness, speaking of resilience and detox, of our saintly airs and our dropped connections. He also ventures into more intimate territory—burying his father, looking back a little—then restarts the engine, rock’n’roll slung over his shoulder, because life goes on and we choose to laugh about it. Honored at the Molières de l’Humour in 2016 and 2020, Lutz deploys here a craft of rhythm, voice and characters, with a supple energy that shifts from the cloud to the undergrowth, from transference to letting go. A stand-up in motion, fed by very everyday images and by swings between the noise of the world and moments of breath, where we muddle through, we influence, we transfer, we free ourselves, and we move on.
