On September 15, 2026 at Cold Crash in Rezé, Then Comes Silence will appear alongside Years of Shame for a post-punk and cold wave bill that gets straight to the point. Formed in Stockholm in the early 2010s around Alex Svenson, the band draws a line between cold wave and gothic rock, with direct, upfront songwriting, taut bass lines, dry guitars and a nocturnal atmosphere rooted in a rock framework. From their self-titled debut to Nyctophilian, then Blood, Machine and, more recently, Hunger, their trajectory has honed a tighter, more nervous sound propelled by a pulse inherited from the European dark scene. Live, Then Comes Silence favors efficiency: concise tracks, sustained tension and a clear sonic identity. Years of Shame completes the lineup alongside the Swedes. Expect pounding bass and dark atmospheres.
