Oog Bogo

On April 29, 2026, Oog Bogo lands in Dabadaba, Donostia / San Sebastián. They’re not coming to save rock’n’roll, but to remind us how alive it still is. Hailing from Los Angeles, signed to In The Red and with a Meatbodie in the lineup, the project led by Kevin Boog blends psychedelia, punk and garage with detours into art-rock, adding a melodic layer that balances mischief and sentiment. Short songs, tempo shifts, gritty guitars and vocal arrangements that make room for more contemplative moments: that’s the mix they’ve been honing since their EPs and that crystallized on their album Plastic (2023).

Live, Oog Bogo operates like an elastic band: Boog surrounds himself with musicians from the LA scene and the rotating lineup pushes the set’s dynamic, alternating immediate jolts with slower passages without losing the melodic thread. Their tracks seek the sweet spot between rock immediacy and small experimental escapes, with a penchant for brief songs. And yes, “Cowgirls!” fits right into that crossover of cheekiness and romance that suits them so well. A spring show driven by energy, but attentive to detail.
