Joe Jackson

On 28 November 2026 Joe Jackson will perform at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. The British singer-songwriter, born in 1954 and trained at the Royal Academy of Music, has built a diverse catalogue since the late 1970s. With Look Sharp! (1979) he established his name, followed by I’m the Man and Beat Crazy. In 1982 Night and Day was released, featuring the single “Steppin’ Out,” which charted highly in both the United Kingdom and the United States. Subsequent albums included Body and Soul (1984), Big World (1986), the orchestral Will Power (1987), Blaze of Glory (1989) and Laughter & Lust (1991). After excursions into classical and orchestral work he returned to the band format with Volume 4 (2003), followed by Rain (2008), Fast Forward (2015), Fool (2019) and What a Racket! (2023). Live, Jackson explores the full breadth of his oeuvre: pop, rock, new wave and orchestral pieces alternate, with room for well-known singles and less frequently performed tracks.
