The Veils

The Veils are scheduled to play on 28 November 2026 at SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen. Led by singer-songwriter Finn Andrews, the band moves between smouldering indie rock and calmer folk, with post‑punk shadows and, at times, a hint of gospel. Live, it’s all about that voice — fragile enough to whisper, sharp enough to cut — carried by nervous guitars and dense, pulsing arrangements. The arc of tension alternates between stripped‑down ballads and moments when everything erupts.

The set draws from their catalogue: the razor energy of Nux Vomica, the layered melancholy of Sun Gangs, and the rougher, more experimental edges of Total Depravity. The recent …And Out of the Void Came Love (2023) introduces new material that begins intimately and slowly unfolds, songs that on stage often tip from spare to fierce. Their appearance in Twin Peaks: The Return still echoes in the concert’s atmosphere: cinematic pacing, room for silence, then suddenly an eruption. No frills — primarily songs that breathe and thicken, with a band that shifts with precision and Andrews serving as both a calm centre and a driving force.
