Nooriyah

On 27 March 2026, Nooriyah will be behind the decks at the Metropol in Berlin. Born in Saudi Arabia, raised in Japan and now based in the United Kingdom, the DJ, producer and radio host weaves club culture with sounds from SWANA and its diaspora. Her sets draw lines between Khaleeji and dabke grooves, North African melodies, UK bass, breakbeat and techno; rapid transitions, precise edits and warm percussion sustain the tension while never losing sight of the music’s roots.

With the London collective Middle of Nowhere she provided a platform for a scene and delivered a Boiler Room moment that was streamed millions of times. Since then she has played everywhere from Glastonbury to Nitsa and headlined sold-out nights at KOKO, EartH, Jazz Café and Colour Factory; her Middle of Everywhere tour took her across Europe. In Berlin she brings this open, boundary-crossing signature to the dancefloor — a set that unites selection and energy across genre lines.
