Nooriyah

Nooriyah has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in global electronic music, building bridges between aesthetics from around the world. Born in Saudi Arabia and raised between Japan and the United Kingdom, where she now lives, she combines her roles as DJ, producer and presenter with a commitment to promoting diasporic cultures. As founder of the London collective Middle of Nowhere, dedicated to SWANA scenes, she presented a Boiler Room set that went viral, surpassing six million views. On stage, Nooriyah has delivered memorable performances from Glastonbury to Nitsa, and sold‑out shows across London (KOKO, EartH, Jazz Café, Colour Factory). In 2025 she became the first Arab woman to perform at Coachella, confirming an already solid international standing. Also active as a producer for the BBC and as a creator of soundtracks for film and television, she continues to shape an open, communal and deeply global sonic universe where inherited rhythms, contemporary reinvention and an inclusive vision converge far beyond borders.
