Info
Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives play Club Regent Event Centre in Winnipeg on July 24, 2026. Led by Mississippi-born singer and guitarist Marty Stuart, who came up with Lester Flatt before years on the road with Johnny Cash, the band leans into the roots of traditional country. With Kenny Vaughan on guitar, Harry Stinson on drums and Chris Scruggs on bass, the quartet moves between honky-tonk, bluegrass, rockabilly and gospel, carried by close harmonies and agile, melodic playing.
On stage, the group works as a unit: each musician sings, trades solos and steps forward in turn, echoing the classic Nashville show format. The set draws across their catalogue, from the gospel shades of Soul’s Chapel (2005) to the open-road textures of Way Out West (2017) and Altitude (2023). Regulars of the Grand Ole Opry and core players on The Marty Stuart Show, they bring songs and stories shaped by decades of craft, with arrangements that keep the lineage of country and Americana very much alive in the room.
