Info
Bombino, a Tuareg guitarist and singer-songwriter from Agadez, will perform on April 3, 2026 at Bords 2 Scènes – L’Orange Bleue in Vitry-le-François. His music draws on Saharan blues and Tuareg tradition, alternating between electric riffs that unfold hypnotic motifs and more stripped-down acoustic ballads. Carried by a clear, taut guitar style, he conjures atmospheres that move in waves—between restrained tension and release—while maintaining a constant focus on groove and vocal delivery.
Discovered in 2011 and brought to wider attention beyond the desert with the album Agadez, Bombino has since undertaken numerous tours and collaborations, including a studio session with Dan Auerbach for Nomad. Deran earned him a Grammy nomination in 2019, followed by a confident return with Sahel in 2023. He is currently preparing a new album scheduled for 2026. On stage he assembles a repertoire that spans his different phases, stringing together haunting guitar lines, clear melodies and extended rhythms, offering an immersion into his world between Saharan roots and contemporary energy.
