Torfrock will perform the 35th Bagaluten-Wiehnacht on 20 November 2026 at the Music Hall Worpswede e.V. in Worpswede. Since 1976 the band from Schleswig-Holstein has stood for straightforward rock played with North German humour, delivered in High German and Low German. Founded by Klaus Büchner and Raymond Voß, they call their sound Bagalutenrock: powerful guitars, driving grooves, catchy choruses and stories from the workshop, the country road and the village pub.
For the Bagaluten-Wiehnacht, Torfrock compiles material from five decades into a winter set: older numbers alongside newer songs, pointed onstage announcements and dry one-liners. That also includes pieces from the Werner universe such as “Beinhart,” which have become a fixed part of their live shows. On stage they present a compact programme without frills – direct, humorous and with moments to sing along, true to the self-styled Bagalutenrock.
