Dieter Bohlen

On August 21, 2026, Dieter Bohlen will bring his band to the stage of the open-air theatre in Wiesmoor. As a songwriter, producer and singer, he has shaped European pop since the early 1980s—through Modern Talking, his project Blue System and numerous studio productions. Live, he condenses these phases into a compact show: catchy choruses, electronic patterns, ballads alongside straightforward uptempo numbers, arranged for a full band line-up.

The program includes songs from the Modern Talking era, Blue System tracks and his own material, supplemented by selected productions he wrote for other artists. Between the pieces there are brief glimpses into the creation and structure of his songs—hooks, choruses, drum machines—without disrupting the flow. The emphasis is on clear melodies and tight arrangements that hold up live without heavy effects. A set that unites his best-known chapters and brings the studio sound out into the open.
