DI-RECT - Clubtour 2026

DI-RECT will bring their 2026 club tour to the Knust in Hamburg on 13 March 2026. The band from The Hague started out in the late 1990s with a direct rock sound shaped by pop-punk and post-grunge and has since gradually broadened its sonic palette. After early successes with Discover came albums like All Systems Go! and This Is Who We Are, which emphasised the melodic side. With the switch from Tim Akkerman to singer Marcel Veenendaal in 2009, arranged songs featuring guitars, keys and occasional orchestration moved to the fore, without abandoning their accessible rock foundation.

On stage DI-RECT rely on compact, punchy club sets and place older singles alongside newer tracks. Songs from Rolling with the Punches and Wild Hearts meet early favourites, sometimes delivered with electric force, sometimes in stripped-back moments. The common thread remains the blend of indie rock, pop and soul, which becomes particularly tangible in the club format.
