Kastelruther Spatzen - Tour 2026

On 27 November 2026 the Kastelruther Spatzen will perform at the Sparkassen-Arena Aurich. The ensemble from Kastelruth in South Tyrol has been shaping German-language folk-pop music since the late 1970s. At its core is the voice of Norbert Rier; around it are built multi-part male choruses, immediately accessible melodies and arrangements that blend guitars, brass and accordion.

Their repertoire combines schlager, alpine folk and slow ballads. The lyrics revolve around mountain landscapes, rural life, family and faith, told in a direct, narrative tone. Live, the Spatzen rely on clear storytelling, choral refrains and precise ensemble playing, with voices interlocking and dynamics shifting between quiet numbers and more spirited pieces. Known from television appearances and their annual Spatzenfest, they bring this approach to the stage without detours.

On their 2026 tour the band bridges well-known songs and newer material—focused on what has defined them for years: melody, choir and straightforward, masterfully crafted arrangements.
