Info
Powfu brings The Lofi Library Tour to Montréal on April 18, 2026, at Le Studio TD. Known offstage as Isaiah Faber, the Canadian rapper and singer grew his music from home recordings in Mission, British Columbia, blending lo-fi hip hop, emo-rap and a touch of indie pop. Early self-released tracks and the some boring, love stories series set the tone with half-sung, half-spoken vocals over unhurried beats. His reach took off with death bed (coffee for your head), built on a sample of beabadoobee’s Coffee, followed by the EP Poems of the Past and steady collaborations, including snowflakes with Alec Benjamin and Sarcastic Sounds.
Onstage, Powfu keeps the production pared back to let melodies and words lead. Expect intimate textures, melancholic pads and small acoustic details under candid lyrics about relationships, doubt and growing up. The Lofi Library format suits his writing-first approach: short stories in song form, simple and close to the mic, carrying the same bedroom sensibility that shaped his recordings while giving it room to breathe in a live setting at Le Studio TD.
