After the PianoMan tour that drew more than 150,000 spectators in Quebec, Christian Marc Gendron returns with Trilogie, a new set that revisits his three most recent tours and introduces previously unheard material. A pianist and singer‑songwriter, he explores the repertoire of the great “piano men” — Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Billy Joel — while infusing it with his own color. One segment pays tribute to Gino Vannelli.
Surrounded by nine musicians led by Simon Godin, and featuring Manon Séguin, Gendron makes the piano the heart of the show, alternating covers, medleys and original songs. Humor punctuates the evening, driven by his gift for interaction. Trilogie unfolds as a live journey where the band’s energy meets pop songwriting and carefully crafted vocal arrangements.
