dEUS - Worst Case Versus In a Bar

dEUS brings its beginnings back into focus. The Antwerp band led by Tom Barman stops at Forest National, Forest, on 19 March 2026 for an evening dedicated to its two foundational albums, Worst Case Scenario (1994) and In a Bar, Under the Sea (1996). Under the banner Worst Case versus In a Bar, the group revisits the material that shaped its identity, between nervous rock, jazz excursions and experimental textures.

On stage, dEUS reworks all the tracks from those two records, not necessarily in their original order, and digs out a few rarities seldom played until now. Guitars intertwine, the violin chisels details, and breaks and tempo changes redraw the contours of a composition with sharp angles. The band traces the thread of those pivotal years while giving the songs room to breathe, between electric tension and melodic detours. An evening conceived for long-time devotees as well as for anyone wanting to catch live this candid mix of rock, jazz and experimentation that left its mark on the European scene.
