David Hallyday « Requiem pour un fou »

On December 4, 2026, Le Scarabée Riorges welcomes David Hallyday with Requiem pour un fou, a concert conceived as a dialogue between his own repertoire and Johnny’s. On stage he revisits emblematic songs of his father alongside his own pieces, with a personal approach that links memory, transmission and the present.

A songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist, David Hallyday has long worked both behind the scenes and in the spotlight. He is notably remembered for his decisive contribution to the album Sang pour Sang, written and composed for Johnny and which became a milestone in their shared history. With this project he extends that artistic bond by offering his interpretation of the songs that have marked generations.

Requiem pour un fou does not seek an exact replica but an interpretation faithful to the spirit of the songs, carried by David’s voice and sensitivity. Contemporary arrangements, rock energy and pop elegance respond to one another, creating a programme that blends heritage with personal creations.
