Covertramp « Hommage à Supertramp »

Covertramp delivers a meticulous tribute to Supertramp, focused on the music and arrangements. Six multi-instrumentalists alternate between keyboards, guitars, saxophone, percussion and backing vocals to reproduce the original tones and vocal harmonies that defined the 1970s and 1980s. Performed entirely live, their set spans five landmark albums of the band, with close attention to tempo, timbre and transitions that highlight the songwriting and richness of the pieces. You’ll hear “School,” “Dreamer,” “Breakfast in America,” “Goodbye Stranger,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Fool’s Overture” and “Give a Little Bit,” serving as a thread through the different eras of the repertoire.
