Nora Hamzawi

Nora Hamzawi returns to the stage with a show rooted in the personal. When your most recent Google searches are about atomic bombs and how to look younger without effort, it’s a sign your relationship with the world is a little off—she uses that as the starting point for a story in which the couple becomes a buffer against the chaos outside. She favors direct observational humor, using plain language to address the era’s sticking fears: diffuse anxiety, aging, societal demands, mental load, and the need for control. Between confessions, contradictions and small acts of cowardice, she probes the cracks without sparing herself and turns everyday micro-panics into comic material, without moralizing or posturing. A domestic-scale stand-up, intimate and close to both what overflows and what holds together.

The show is scheduled for 19 September 2026 at Le Cadran – Palais des Congrès (Le Tangram) in Évreux. Not recommended for under-16s.
