Nora Hamzawi

Nora Hamzawi is a French comedian, actress, author and columnist, born in Cannes on April 29, 1983 and raised in Paris. She quickly left the field of law to study communications while taking courses at the Cours Florent. She made her stage debut in 2009 with her first show and gained wider recognition through the 'Juste pour rire' festival and the TV show On n’demande qu’à en rire. A radio columnist on France Inter (2013–2016) and a television contributor, notably on Le Grand Journal and later Quotidien, she has published several books, including 30 ans (10 ans de thérapie) in 2016 and 35 ans (dont 15 avant Internet) in 2021. On film, she appears in titles such as Olivier Assayas’s Doubles Vies (2019) and Pascal Bonitzer’s Le Tableau volé (2024). In 2024–2025 she is performing her show at the Théâtre des Folies Bergère and has published a third book, Couple. Splendeurs et misères de la vie à deux. An embodiment of feminine and generational humour, Nora Hamzawi continues to examine with clarity and self‑deprecation the contemporary questions of life, partnership and intimacy.
