Nora Hamzawi

Info

Nora Hamzawi returns to the stage with a stand-up show built on a simple observation: when your web searches alternate between how far away a bomb would have to be and miracle methods to look younger, the times are intruding a little too much into our lives. She uses her relationship as a starting point to unfold this constant gap between the noise of the world and the management of everyday life — the micro-panics that slip into conversations, the notifications that disrupt dinner, the absurd obsessions that end up structuring the day.

On stage, she explores this porous boundary between the personal and the outside, focusing on concrete details: the shaky compromises, the quiet contradictions, the little survival strategies that hold together more or less. Her material is domestic, living-room-level life — the conversations we replay in our heads, the catastrophic scenarios we invent despite ourselves. She’s not chasing a punchline at all costs; she unfolds, observes, lays things bare and moves forward in small vignettes, with a frankness that leaves room for the audience.

Nora Hamzawi will be appearing on April 19, 2026 at Le Phare, the Saint-Coulomb socio-cultural center.
