Dub inc

Dub Inc, a band from Saint-Étienne active since the late 1990s, will be at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette on 19 March 2026. Originally known as Dub Incorporation, the collective shaped its identity on the road, between reggae, dancehall and Kabyle influences. The voices of Bouchkour and Komlan answer each other with complementary styles, and the lyrics move from French to English to Kabyle. The common thread remains cultural mixing — the blending of rhythms and languages — driven by direct writing and memorable melodies.

Over the course of their tours, Dub Inc has played far beyond France, from Portugal to Canada, via Algeria, Senegal and Colombia, and has shared the bill with Tiken Jah Fakoly, David Hinds and Tarrus Riley. On stage the rhythm section provides the foundation, the arrangements tighten the sound, and the whole ensemble emphasizes collective energy.
