Laurent Gerra se met à table

Laurent Gerra returns to the stage with a new show shaped by current events and the little quirks of public life. A master of impressions and a comedian, he skewers politicians, singers and faces from television and cinema, presenting a gallery of characters that mixes topical figures with staples from his repertoire. Sharpened voices, precisely measured expressions and punchy lines: he grabs the hot news, twists it with his eye for detail and turns it into sketches that go straight to the point, alternating vignettes, parodied songs and biting asides.

Without a lecturing stance or long speeches, Gerra observes, shifts perspective and links sketches together, moving from one timbre to another with a musician’s precision. You recognize the intonations, you pick up the tics, and you follow the thread that connects pop culture with the backstage of power.
